Who is Derek?

I’m Derek and currently I go to college at Iowa State University. Ever since 2008 I have loved being online, seeing what was available, and how I could start contributing.

Now, in 2010 I started many new ventures. I first started LifeNotion.com, then NotionUp.com, and so I do have experience in building up online.  With these two sites / ventures I have created communities and gained support from many.  But, with many things in life I was missing something.

Inside My Mind

I know I can’t tell you everything about goes on inside my brain. But, I can tell you that many of my friends and people I have connected with know I have a mind full of creativity, new ideas, and is always in brainstorming mode. Here lies a problem though. I’m not able to really know what I want to really sit down with and just make the best of it.

So, I am making the best of myself and my mind.

With that said, I offer my advice specifically for critiquing anything you might have that is online whether it be your homepage or a specific element all in terms of design, layout, functionality, and transparency.
